My Dear Matthew, I had planned to tell the congregation how wonderful you are and what a bright, intelligent and beautiful soul you are. However, it was very apparent that everyone already knew that! So many had gathered to say farewell, farewell to the most incredible son any dad could wish for. As I sit here now and reflect, reflect on the life you lived and the absolute joy you gave mum and I. All I can say is thank you, thank you for being the wonderful little boy you were, thank you for being the fabulous man you grew up to be and thank you for just being Matthew. I am so proud to be your dad and I look forward to the day when it is my turn and you will be there to hold my hand. I will miss you Matthew. Love you always Dad Xxxxx
